Today’s workout was in the CrossFit games this past year.  You may not have noticed it because it was part of the Masters competition.  This exact WOD was done by the 45-49 year old competitors and they absolutely crushed it.  Eric Bartlett and Lisa Mikkelsen won with the times of 8:26 and 8:35 respectively.  Because of that today’s workout has a time limit of 8:26 for the men and 8:35 for the ladies.  It is not that I am going out of my way for you to see how you stack up to the fittest people in their age category, but more like I am curious to know.  Maybe in the future I will program the same workout but with the standards that the 55+ age group had to endure.  If that is the case, well that one is on me, because it will definitely be on purpose.    In the mean time, enjoy worrying all day about whether or not you are going to beat people much older than you.

And even if you beat them…it would have to be by a lot to be okay,
